ID 26-1231 Consider an ordinance of the City of Denton approving and authorizing the expenditure of council contingency funds designated for donation and execution of an agreement between the City of Denton and the following Texas nonprofit organizations, each operating in the City of Denton, for the expenditure of city council contingency funds (CF) in the total amount of eight thousand dollars ($8000): Mayor CF to Our Daily Bread ($400), Serve Denton ($600), United Way of Denton County Barriers Fund ($400) & Interfaith Ministries Denton ($300); District 2 CF to Interfaith Ministries Denton ($1,200); District 3 CF to Interfaith Ministries Denton ($1,000), Denton County Friends of the Family ($250), Denton Community Food Center ($250), & Denton Music and Art Collaborative ($200); At Large Place 5 CF to Alexander Elementary PTA ($600), The Path Home ($220), Denton Affordable Housing Corporation (McAdams Haven Fund) ($220), Mama T's Butterflies ($220), Denton Basic Services Center ($220), & Interfaith Denton Ministries ($220); At Large Place 6 CF to Denton Holiday Lighting Festival ($850), & Texas Veteran's Hall of Fame Museum ($850); providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.
