ID 25-1886 Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with Honeywell International Inc., for the maintenance and licensing for the emergency response automated fire station alerting (Phoenix G2) system for the Fire Department; which is the sole provider of these services, in accordance with Texas Local Government Code 252.022, which provides that procurement of commodities and services that are available from one source are exempt from competitive bidding, and if over $50,000, shall be awarded by the governing body; providing for the expenditure of funds therefor; and providing an effective date (File 8887 - awarded to Honeywell International Inc., for three (3) years, with the option for two (2) additional one (1) year extensions, in the total five (5) year not-to-exceed amount of $348,949.00).

ID 25-1545 Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton by three separate votes, each being conducted on September 16, 2025, October 21, 2025, and December 2, 2025, granting a nonexclusive gas franchise to Universal Natural Gas, LLC, for use of public rights-of-way in a designated area in the City of Denton for the purpose of constructing, maintaining and operating a system of pipelines and other facilities for the provision, transportation, distribution and conveyance of gas to customers in such designated area; authorizing execution of a franchise agreement between the City of Denton and Universal Natural Gas, LLC, providing for compensation to the City for the use of the public right-of-ways, providing terms, conditions and requirements related to the use of public rights-of-way in the City of Denton and to the construction, maintenance and operation of pipelines and other facilities for the provision, distribution and transportation of gas to customers in the designated area of the City of Denton; providing for publication; and providing an effective date.
