E. ID 25-1948 Consider approval of a resolution of the City of Denton appointing a Primary Representative and an Alternate Representative to the Board of Directors of the Denton County Transportation Authority; and providing for an effective date.
Councilwoman Suzi Rhumohr should the main representative to the DCTA, because she has the most experience in getting around in mulitple modes of transit, and has government and transit board experience, like being Chair Pro Tem on a bond committee and being a board member of Bike Texas. It is import to have board member who knows what it like to get around with a car, so the board member can use that experience to improve DCTA for the actual users.
