ID 25-1133 Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton authorizing the City Manager to execute an Interlocal Cooperation Contract in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Denton and the Denton Independent School District (DISD), for reimbursement to the City in the estimated amount of $508,392 for compensation and benefits of six Student Resource Officers (SROs) assigned at DISD for the period of July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026; and providing an effective date.

ID 25-1243 Consider adoption of an ordinance of the city of Denton granting the Denton Black Chamber of Commerce a noise exception pursuant to section 17-20 of the city of Denton code of ordinances for the Denton Blues Festival, which will be held on September 19-21, 2025, Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Quakertown Park; granting an exception for sound levels and a variance in the hours of operation on said dates; and providing an effective date.

ID 25-1344 Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, authorizing the approval of a first amendment to a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) preconstruction services contract between the City of Denton and Sundt Construction, Inc., amending the contract approved by City Council on February 6, 2024, in the not-to-exceed amount of $2,452,441.00, said first amendment to provide additional preconstruction design services and expand the timeline for the Pecan Creek Water Reclamation Plant Headworks and Expansion project for the Water Utilities Department; providing for the expenditure of funds therefor; and providing an effective date (RFP 8289 - providing for an additional first amendment expenditure amount not-to-exceed $296,273.00, with the total contract amount not-to-exceed $2,748,714.00). ID 25-1345 Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, rejecting any and all competitive proposals under RFP 8717 for the Removal and Safe Disposal of Sodium Hydroxide within the Chlorine Scrubber at the Ray Roberts Water Treatment Plant for Water Production; and providing an effective date (RFP 8717). ID 25-1346 Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with RDO Equipment Co., for the purchase of landfill compaction software for the Solid Waste and Recycling Department, which is the sole provider of this software, in accordance with Texas Local Government Code 252.022, which provides that procurement of commodities and services that are available from one source are exempt from competitive bidding, and if over $50,000, shall be awarded by the governing body; providing for the expenditure of funds therefor; and providing an effective date (File 8857 - awarded to RDO Equipment Co., for one (1) year, with the option for four (4) additional one (1) year extensions, in the total five (5) year not-to-exceed amount of $371,801.00).
