ID 25-445 Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the General Municipal Election to elect City Council Members to Districts 1, 2, 3, and 4, and the Special Municipal Election for the purpose of submitting proposed Charter amendments to the registered voters of the City of Denton, held on May 3, 2025; Declaring that no candidate received the majority of votes cast for District 3 in the General Municipal Election and that a Runoff Election is ordered to be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025; Authorizing Runoff Election Day polling locations; and providing an effective date.
