J. ID 24-1732 Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton adopting a schedule of fees for the Denton Animal Services Department; superseding all prior fees in conflict with such schedule; providing severability; providing a repealer; and establishing an effective date.
I am a Denton resident and have been since 1974. I have had many interactions over the years with the Denton Animal Shelter - Given the current criminal and internal investigations regarding procedures and practices at the Denton Animal Shelter, I am requesting that this item be tabled until the investigation is over, the city council have reviewed results and reforms as necessary are in place. Implementing changes at this time is not appropriate.
