I support the addition of counsel seats such that no single-district counselor should be responsible for more than 20,000 citizens.

I support increasing the number of district seats because Denton is growing and we need to plan for that. We need to be sure our residents have representation.

I feel that raising the number of district seats would allow councilors to better address the needs of the population.

I support increasing the number of district seats to account for population growth and to better represent the population of the city

The speed with which Denton is growing puts district councilors in a position where they're representing tens of thousands of citizens. Adding seats allows representatives to better know their constituents and (hopefully) form policy opinions with the specific need of their district in mind.
