ID 24-1157 Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, authorizing the approval of a first amendment to a contract between the City of Denton and Wärtsilä North America, Inc., amending the contract approved by City Council on April 20, 2021, in the not to exceed amount of $3,448,184.00; said first amendment to continue to supply routine maintenance supplies for the Denton Energy Center; providing for the expenditure of funds therefor; and providing an effective date (IFB 7544 - providing for an additional first amendment expenditure amount not-to-exceed $862,046.00, with the total contract amount not-to-exceed $4,310,230.00). The Public Utilities Board recommends approval (6-0).
