ID 24-078 Consider adoption of an Ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, authorizing the approval of a first amendment to a contract between the City of Denton and the Denton Chamber of Commerce, amending the contract approved by the City Council on September 27, 2022 and extended through September 30, 2024 by consent of both parties, in the not to exceed amount of $125,000, said first amendment to provide additional funding to provide for a program to promote economic development, providing for the expenditure of funds therefore; and providing for an effective date (providing for an additional first amendment expenditure amount not-to-exceed $25,000, with the total contract amount not-to-exceed $150,000). The Economic Development Partnership Board recommends approval (10-0).
