H. ID 22-2433 Consider approval of a resolution of the City Council for the City of Denton appointing a Primary Representative to the Board of Directors of the Denton County Transportation Authority; and providing for an effective date.
I oppose replacing Alison Maguire as the primary representative to the Board of Directors of DCTA. Ms. Alison has served the city well as a public servant- she appears to be dedicated, determined, and striving to do her best for the city. She meets the community member criteria to continue serving as the city's representative on the DCTA. Her removal from the Board is not in the city's best interests and there is no compelling reason to replace her at this time.
