ID 22-1819 Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement between the City of Denton and the University of North Texas for the expenditure of sixty-one thousand nine hundred and ninety dollars ($61,990) for the purchase and commissioning of sculptures of Abner Haynes and Dr. Leon King and corresponding steel name arches; and providing an effective date. The Parks, Recreation, and Beautification Board recommends approval (4-0). The Public Art Committee recommends approval (4-0).
