ID 22-746 Consider approval of an Ordinance of the City of Denton, Texas, establishing a Science Based Target for greenhouse gas mitigation and outlining future climate action through the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives ("ICLEI 150") and Race to Zero initiatives and authorizing City Manager to sign the ICLEI 150 commitment form to support a healthy, resilient, zero-carbon recovery that prevents future threats, creates jobs, and unlocks inclusive sustainable growth; and providing an effective date.
