I support the ordinance because all members of our community deserve access to employment, housing, and public services.

A policy of non discrimination ensures that Denton will remain diverse, open, and inclusive to all. I'm frankly appalled that anyone would oppose this ordinance. Discrimination has no place in our city.

I support the proposed comprehensive non-discrimination ordinance for the City of Denton. I agree that we should formally guarantee that people can live and work and learn and play in our city without the threat of discrimination of any kind.

I am opposed to this agenda item as The United States constitution guarantees freedom of religion, not simply freedom of worship. religion is understood by most people as a holistic lifestyle where all of life is brought under the influence of God and his Word. This includes on the job, social gatherings, and in every other part of life. . It includes being able to make decisions in commerce and personal life that are a reflection of God's will as sincerely understood.

My husband and I support the comprehensive non-discrimination proposition. In the current climate of of denouncing the rights of the “others” the city of Denton needs to make it’s position clear that it is a city of inclusion not discrimination.
